The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established in 1991 as a governmental organization for Official Development Assistance (ODA) to enhance the effectiveness of South Korea's grant aid programs for developing countries. As the first overseas office, KOICA Indonesia strives to realize universal values such as poverty eradication and to be faithful in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Global Partnership Program

PPP/DIP Programs

PPP/DIP Programs : 92 programs (16 on-going projects)

Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program consists of five respective sub-programs for NGOs sector- including the Civil Society Cooperation Program, Collaborative Impact Management Program, Civil Society Partnership and Capacity Development Initiative, Social and Solidarity Economy Program, and Development Alliance Korea (DAK).

Development Innovation Program consists of three respective sub-programs for business sector -including Creative Technology Solution Program, Inclusive Business Solution Program, and Innovative Partnership Solution Program for business sector.

Multi-lateral Cooperation Program

Multi-lateral Cooperation Program : average of 3 projects per year

Multi-lateral Cooperation Program refers to the cooperation between KOICA and international organizations to collaborate in resolving global issues such as climate change, humanitarian assistance and food security, climate change and human rights.

Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief

Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief : average of 1-2 activities per year

Humanitarian Assistance Program aims to save lives, alleviate suffering, promote dignity, prevent risks and strengthen response during and in the aftermath of man-made or natural disasters.

COVID-19 Response Program

COVID-19 Response Program : 12 on-going projects

COVID-19 Response Program consists of a number of humanitarian assistance projects as a part of the initiative of “ODA KOREA: Building Trust”.
